1. Tummy Gourmet Restaurant

This piste-side restaurant is ideal for a quick and tasty break during your ski day. Expect artisan pizzas, hearty pasta dishes and a few indulgent burgers all made with quality regional produce. You can eat in or take away and if you’re in Tignes, they’ll even deliver. Serving quality regional produce from the surrounding valleys and just over the mountains in Italy, the menu is bursting with delicious dishes, sumptuous burgers and homemade fries.

If you find yourself in need of a sugar boost in the afternoon, then try one of their famous Belgian waffles and hot chocolate (15:00 to 18:00).

Open daily from 09:00 to 22:00 (during the season), you can eat in or grab something to take away with you.

2. La Cantine Café and Restaurant

La Cantine in Tignes Le Lavachet is a popular spot with a wide menu serving many grilled cheese sandwiches, soups, cakes and coffee for something a little different. The menu includes eight different burgers from classic beef to chicken, halloumi and veggie options. If you’re craving a good burger, this is a great place to try.

Grilled cheese ticks so many boxes - it's hot and tasty, it's quick, it's portable and it even cures a hangover! What's not to like?

Inspired by the global street food revolution of recent years, this restaurant has firmly put grilled cheese on the Tignes map for nearly ten years. Serving hearty breakfasts, great value lunches, homemade cakes and delicious coffees and craft ales, their grilled cheese specialities combine classic flavour combos with some modern twists to keep your taste buds tantalised.

For tea lovers, the café also serves Yorkshire tea so you can look forward to a proper brew after a day on the mountain, or if you're after something a bit stronger they have craft beers available and even Prosecco by the bottle!

Eat in or take away, it will be a challenge to resist going here more than once.

Satsuki Sushi Restaurant, Val Claret style of cuisine

3. KonaYuki Restaurant

Located in the heart of Val Claret, this restaurant serves sushi, sashimi and other Japanese specialities.

Enjoy something different whilst in the mountains and treat yourself to some Japanese food in Tignes, including sushi, yakitori, Cantonese rice or miso soup. This delightful Japanese sushi restaurant also has some vegetarian and vegan options amongst all that raw fish. 

Chef Kenji hails from Tokyo, but his passion is for skiing - discovered at a young age - that led him to travel European ski resorts with his ski instructor diploma. He finally settled in Tignes, where he named his restaurant after the ultra light powdery snow that is only found in Japan- KonaYuki.

Grab some sushi to take away with you and enjoy it at your chalet or apartment. We recommend you order in advance.

4. Le Bellevarde Restaurant

Situated at the top of the Face of Bellevarde and the Ski World Cup and Olympic Games slopes, Le Bellevarde restaurants offer you an amazing view of the Grand Paradis massifs to the Mont Blanc.

You have the choice of either table service in the restaurant or opting for self-service. The brand new self-service section of the Bellevarde is on the ground floor. They offer a large range of cold and hot starters, and a variety of main courses and delicious desserts. The Bellevarde self-service provides a unique choice of different eating areas; you can warm up next to an open log fireplace or choose to eat on their exceptional terrace, where you can appreciate the panoramic view of the peaks.

The sit down restaurant upstairs has a welcoming and comfortable atmosphere with a new menu full of delicious traditional dishes from Savoie. This floor also has a lounge area which is a great place to enjoy an aperitif by the open fireplace. Dinners can choose to eat indoors or out on the terrace which is partially covered to give you the best conditions to lunch in.

The restaurant is open daily from 09:00 to 16:30.

5. L'Armailly Restaurant

This restaurant has an exceptional sun terrace and wine cellar. They serve traditional French cuisine you can truly enjoy your dining experience.

During the day, take a break from skiing and enjoy lunch on the sunny terrace or settle in the cosy restaurant. Serving pizzas, traditional plates and Savoyard food. Accessible from Tignes Le Lavachet via Pistes Rhododenron (blue), Myosotis, Chardons et Pavot (red) and from Tignes Le Lac via Courniche, Myosotis (red and blue).

In the evening, sit back and enjoy a delicious meal served in a cosy atmosphere with friendly staff who will surely leave you feeling satisfied. They offer a transport service with a minivan collecting you from your chalet and dropping you off at the end of the night (this must be requested and is subject to availability).
