The extensive network of Tignes lifts are open both in summer and winter. For the winter season, snow cover permitting, the Tignes & Val d'Isère ski area is scheduled to open from:

postponed until mid-January 2021, pending further updates and lifting of travel restrictions being announced 7th January 2021
Ski resorts are OPEN but lifts are closed; there is a national curfew from the 15th December between 20h-6h, bar Christmas Eve
Tuesday 15th December 2020 to Sunday 2nd May 2021
The Tignes ski area will also be open from 17th to 29th October 2020
Season start and end dates may vary slightly as they are dependent on snow conditions, and there may be a reduced ski area in operation if snow cover is insufficient.
