1. Lo Soli Restaurant

This restaurant situated on the massif de l'Aiguille Percée, between Tignes le Lac and Tignes Les Boisses is open for lunch.

Accessible from the top of the Chaudannes chairlift from Tignes Le Lac and Tignes Le Lavachet for both skiers and pedestrians.

This self-service restaurant, restaurant and bar offers a wonderful selection of Savoyard and French specialities in the cosy interior or outside on the wonderful sun terrace.

La Folie Douce - La Cucucina Restaurant, Val d'Isere

2. La Cucùcina Restaurant

Located at the top of the Daille bubble, within the celebrated La Folie Douce hotspot, enjoy gourmet Italian cuisine prepared by a renowned chef and his Italian team.

The restaurant name is two Italian words combined, La Cucina (food in Italian) and Cucù (crazy in Italian). Representing both craziness and Italian cuisine, it's the perfect name for La Folie Douce!

The menu includes traditional dishes with a modern twist, such as:

  • Carpaccio di Sicilia: a gamberoni (shrimp) carpaccio with coral juice and black garlic
  • Pollo alla diavola: a superb spatchcock chicken dish, served with creamy polenta mosto cotto (cooked grape must) and grapes
  • Profiterole di Cucùcina: vanilla cream, a salted caramel centre and hot chocolate coulis.

The restaurant decor is inspired by the works of Italian Renaissance artists and pays particular hommage to Leonardo DeVinci. It's the perfect setting to enjoy your delicious Italian meal.

The restaurant is open for lunch every day from 12:30 to 16:30.

3. L'Alpage des Chaudannes Restaurant

This cosy restaurant is located on the massif de L'Aiguille Percée, between Tignes le Lac and Tignes les Boisses.

This fantastic mountain restaurant has a wonderful sun terrace for those beautiful blue bird days or alternatively has a cosy and warm interior for those days when the snow comes in. Enjoy fantastic Savoyard gourmet dishes accompanied by a wonderful selection of Savoie wines.

The restaurant is open daily from December to May, dependent on lift access. Accessible from the top of the Chaudannes chairlift from Tignes Le Lac and Tignes Le Lavachet for both skiers and pedestrians.

4. Les 3 Caves Restaurant

La Folie Douce Val d'Isère opened a new kind of restaurant: Les 3 Caves. A unique experience with exceptional products worked with flavour and refinement.

LA CAVE À VINS

This is the highest wine cellar in Europe. Its vaulted cellars are an Aladdin’s cave of more than two hundred different vintage wines. It's the perfect place to spend an evening or enjoy a meal.

Private bookings possible at lunch and in the evening for 44 people maximum.

LA CAVE À CIGARES

For amateurs and enthusiasts alike, the retro-chic 70s-style Cave à Cigares offers a large selection of cigars and breathtaking views of the mountains surrounding La Folie Douce.

LA CAVE À FROMAGES

The third cave, dedicated to cheese, is an invitation to travel and discover. This cave is located in the middle of the 3 caves and has a panoramic view of Mont Blanc. You can enjoy more than 120 varieties of cheese selected by Pierre Gay, one of the best cheesemaker in France (awarded Meilleur ouvrier de France). These cheeses offer new flavours that reflect the diversity of the mountain and the expertise of local producers.

La Folie Douce can also organise something extra for cheese enthusiasts who want to learn more about cheese making, from milk production to ripening. If this is of interest, please just ask a member of staff.
 

La Folie Douce - La Fruitière Restaurant, Val d'Isere - Bellevarde

5. La Fruitière Restaurant

Located at the top of the Daille bubble, within the celebrated La Folie Douce après-ski and gourmet hotspot, La Fruitière serves delicious modern dishes based on traditional flavours.

In the old days, “Fruitière” described a dairy co-operative, mainly producing cheese. This contemporary restaurant has been largely inspired by this traditional mountain way of life both in its menu and décor.

Ice-cool design and a fireside warm welcome go hand in hand here. Their menu features local and regional produce ingeniously brought to the table by head Chef Franck Mischler and his team. Some of the highlights on offer include homemade duck foie gras, special Monsieur Yves Papin's oysters, classic 100% beef steak tartar, roasted leg of lamb or the traditional Fruitière tiramisu. They also serve daily 'plat du jour' and roast specials, as well as a selection of vegetarian dishes. The restaurant is open daily from midday to 15:30.

This is not the only restaurant available at La Folie Douce. Just next door, La Petite Cuisine serves local favourites in a canteen-style space. At The Butcher, on the sun terrace, you can enjoy a quick but tasty lunch; choose from burgers, hot dogs, sandwiches, paninis, crepes, waffles and a lot more from 12:00 (take away available).

Alongside this generous and gourmet kitchen, they have an impressive cigar, cheese and wine cave, called "Les Trois Caves", where the best cheeses from the Savoie area rub shoulders with classic vintages and new wines selected by their head sommelier. Open from midday to 15:00, seven days a week.

After lunch, enjoy La Folie Douce's famous parties. Every day from 13:00, the best performers, dancers, musicians and DJs gather on the terrace of this clubbing hotspot for a cabaret show and, from 15:00, La Folie Douce turns into a club for the ultimate après-ski experience.

6. La Petite Cuisine Restaurant

La Petite Cuisine is La Folie Douce's gourmet-quality, canteen-style restaurant. They serve a perfect mix of high-class local cuisine in a friendly, family atmosphere.

Located at the top of the La Daille bubble, it is a great choice for lunch for skiers and pedestrians alike! Their wholesome menu includes regional favourites made with local produce and lovingly prepared in the knowing ways of yesteryear. Think generous servings of salad, pizza, quiche, grilled meat, pasta and homemade desserts, as well as daily specials (including a soup and a 'plat du jour').

La Petite Cuisine's magical mix of ancient and modern is reflected in the wall décor made by celebrated artist Tarek Benaoum, which has transformed the traditional wood cabin interior into a contemporary, cosy space. The informal seating and style, the no-concession ampleness of the servings and service (often by the chefs themselves!), are as tasteful and tasty as the dishes and their ingredients.

La Petite Cuisine is open daily from 12:00 to 17:00.

7. Le Butcher Restaurant

Perfect for a quick bite on the slopes, Le Butcher serves up gourmet-style burgers, sandwiches and sweet treats with speed and flavour. Enjoy your meal on the sunny terrace or take it away if you’re in a rush. Stick around after lunch and you might find yourself caught up in La Folie Douce legendary après-ski party.

Located at the top of the La Daille bubble, Le Butcher is a great choice for those who want to eat on the go! You can either order the food to takeaway or eat it on their outdoor terrace. The menu includes burgers, sandwiches, fresh juices and waffles.

Le Butcher is open every day from 11:30 to 16:30.

Couloir Bar & Restaurant, Tignes Val Claret interior

8. Couloir Bar and Restaurant

Situated in the main square of Val Claret, only two minutes from the Tufs chairlift, this restaurant serves an international menu and offers live music for après-ski.

The restaurant blends fresh flavours and locally sourced ingredients, to create a cuisine that plays on European flavours and traditional Savoyard dishes. Serving lunch and dinner daily, they also propose brunch at the weekend which we hear is 'no ordinary English breakfast' and well worth a try.

The bar area is well stocked with premium beers, wines and spirits and has an excellent cocktail list. It's a great place for pre-dinner drinks or some after-dinner partying.

Open daily from 11:00 to 01:00, their lunch menu is available from 12:00 to 18:00 and dinner from 19:00 to 22:00. Happy Hour run from 15:00 to 18:00 and again from 21:00 to 23:00.

Jam Bar & Restaurant,

9. Jam Bar & Restaurant

A well-rated Italian restaurant serving popular pasta dishes and desserts.

After a hard day on the mountain, what's more warming and welcoming than simple, good, home-made Italian cooking?

At Jam bar, you'll find delicious traditional Italian pasta dishes, including ravioli, carbonara, and tomato-basil, or opt for their generously-topped bruschetta or paninis. If you fancy a lighter bite, they offer Italian anti-pasti of cold meat and cheeses.

Follow it up with traditional Italian coffee, hot chocolate, or the Italian favourite - Bombardino! A selection of ice creams are also available.

Eat in the restaurant, on the terrace, or get it to take-away.

Live music and bands at the bar offer the perfect apres-ski, right at the bottom of the Plafour lift.

10. La Taverne des Neiges Restaurant

Right at the bottom of the pistes in Tignes Val Claret you will find La Taverne Des Neiges. Serving a range of food from pizzas to Savoyard dishes you can soak up the sun on the terrace at lunchtime or sit in the warm wooden interior for dinner. A great place to stop for lunch whilst out and about skiing in Tignes with a large terrace outside and a big restaurant you can enjoy a meal whatever the weather. At dinner the restaurant has a warm and cosy atmosphere with great food and friendly staff.

Accessible via Piste H, Double M and Carline Pistes and right next to the Bolin/Fresse chairlift you can enjoy excellent views of the Grande Motte and take a break from your day out skiing. To get back over to Val d'Isère just hop on the Bolin/Fresse chairlift and you can ski the Bellevarde Bowl or ski all the way down to La Daille.

Opening hours: Sunday to Friday 08:00 to 20:00 and Saturday 08:00 to 22:30.
