Cara Brown Takes 1st Place in Her First Race of the Season
Local ski racer Cara Brown has had a great start to the season
Every winter we follow the progress of local ski racer Cara Brown as she travels around the Alps competing in Super G, Slalom and Giant Slalom ski races.
The new season of ski racing has already started & Cara's gotten off to a flying start.
"I won the first race [in Tignes] by 0.2 seconds and scored a personal best result of 39 points! The second race was a close one; I finished in third place just 0.08 seconds from the leader and 0.01 seconds from second place. I also scored a second best result of 42.
I have knocked 20 points of my Super G since last season so I'm looking forward to seeing how much further I can go this year!"
