Lac gelé 24 hour race, Tignes
One of a kind running race on the frozen lake
At 2,100m, competitors will follow a course traced on the lake that will test both endurance and team spirit.
Competitors of all levels must run on the frozen lake for 6 hours in a relay race. The race takes place on a 3km circuit marked out on the frozen surface.
The races:
Team Challenge - 44km, elevation 200m (+ and -), start 10:00
6km race - 6km, elevation 30m (+ and -), start 11:00
10km race - 10km, elevation 60m (+ and -), start 15:00
Semi-marathon - 21km, elevation 210m (+ and -), start 11:00
Ski de Fond challenge - 3km, start 10:00
