Winter X-Games

The Tignes Winter X-Games is for many the highlight of the winter extreme sports calendar. Drawing the biggest names in freestyle ski, snowboard and snowmobile to the slopes to compete for the title of X-games champion, traditionally the X-Games has been an American event but ESPN and Canal + haved joined forces to present the European X-Games in Tignes.
Previous winners of the X-Games title have included legends like Shaun White, Candide Thovex, Torah Bright and Britain’s very own Jenny Jones.
Amongst the 2013 Winter X-Games riders were; Kevin Rolland from France, James Woods from UK, Torstein Horgmo from Norway, Mark McMorris from Canada and Shaun White from the USA.
