Eco-friendly summer events in Tignes

Eco-forums every Tuesday

At Tignes mairie (town hall) you can go along every Tuesday in July and August to listen to professionals discuss crucial issues that effect both locals and holidaymakers. Access is free to all. 

Echo Day - 1 August 2025

A friendly village fête format where there will be a craft market hosting a group of local craftsmen selling their products - honey, spread, herbal teas, cosmetics etc. There are also zero waste workshops, recycling and sustainable development activities, and yoga intros.

Pamper Your Mountain - 21 August 2025

Locals and holidaymakers are tasked with helping pick up the numerous pieces of litter on the clean up areas including Val Claret, Lac du Chevril and the Tignes ski area.

More and more people join the effort every year to help on this eco day out. Head along, pick up your equipment (bags, gloves, grabbers and t-shirts) and spread out. When everyone heads back, the waste is weighted and sorted. Those who come back with the most unusual objects can win prizes.

There will also be events sucha s awareness-raising workshops on the theme of ecology, local crafts, etc.
