Top vegetarian restaurants in Tignes

A delightful Japanese sushi restaurant in Tignes that has vegetarian and vegan options amongst all that raw fish. Chef Kenji hails from Tokyo, but it is his passion for skiing discovered from a young age that led him to travel European ski resorts with his ski instructor diploma. He finally settled in Tignes, where he named his restaurant after the ultra light powdery snow that is only found in Japan: KonaYuki.

Located on the Grande Motte glacier, accessed via the funicular, this special event restaurant has a Michelin star and is only open for lunch. You'll find some vegetarian items on the menu, and they can prepare vegan on request so you would need to make sure you notify them ahead, rather than just rocking up. 

This Italian restaurant offers up a whole section of dishes that are suitable for vegetarians, including pastas and pizzas, a Josper oven that delivers a whole roasted cauliflower dish, plus a veggie tartiflette, a mushroom tartiflette, and of course some special fondues.

More a bar to be honest than a restaurant, but in amongst the delicious cocktails and happy hour beers, Loop Bar has a pretty decent offering for veggies. Choose from a vegan burger, falafel bowl, falafel wrap or veggie chilli and nachos. There's even a vegan breakfast burrito. 

Now with Steakhouse in its name, you'd be forgiven for wondering why this restaurant is featured on this list... well they also offer a decent range of vegetarian and vegan options. So if your group fancies trying one of the best restaurants in the area, the veggies amongst you are well catered for.
