Lucky Escape for A Skier in Tignes Yesterday
Skier swept by an avalanche into the lake
Yesterday afternoon a 40 year old skier who was skiing off piste above the lake in Tignes, was caught by an avalanche an ended up in the lake.
He was found floating in the water by rescue teams, and aside from being cold and shaken, was thankfully unharmed.
