The pipe is now open in Espace Killy, halfpipe now up and running
We have had plenty of new snow in the Espace Killy and this has definitely improved conditions on piste. Off piste the new snow has meant that the risk of avalanche has gone up and there have been some accidents this week, one of which was fatal.
Over in Tignes the pipe has been shaped and there are some pro skiers and snowboarder training. This is the same pipe they use for the X-Games and it is open to anyone who wants to ride it, simply head to the bottom of the Lanches chairlift in Tignes Val Claret and drop in.
