Tignes is predominantly an apartment resort, but the number and variety of hotels on offer is gradually increasing, as is their luxury in a resort that feels more and more upmarket. Pretty much all of the hotel accommodation in Tignes has excellent access to the slopes and, if you stay in Val Claret or Le Lac, you’ll also be close to a pretty lively après ski scene.
