All the apartments have a comfortable lounge area where you can relax in the evening and the vast majority have either a balcony or terrace with stunning mountain views. All 14 apartments have fully equipped kitchens with a full-size oven, ceramic hobs, a microwave, a large fridge and a dishwasher.

For entertainment throughout your holiday, every apartment has been fitted with a flat-screen satellite TV and WiFi access.

All the apartments have access to a ski locker where you can store all your equipment without it taking over your living space. There is also access to a communal laundry room for convenience.

The hotel offers twenty-six bedrooms and seven suites or family rooms, all with en-suite bathrooms, balconies, cable TV, WiFi, mini-bar, safe and hairdryer. Each room also includes access to a private ski locker.

Guests at Hotel Le Lac enjoy free access to the spa, which features a sauna, steam room and two jacuzzis - perfect for unwinding after a day on the mountain. There’s also a cosy lounge, billiard room and library for guests to relax in.

The hotel is ideally located just fifty metres from the ski lifts and ski school meeting points in winter, and close to activities like golf, tennis, water sports, hiking, horse riding and even summer skiing on the glacier.

Hotel Le Refuge was the first mountain refuge in Tignes Le Lac, built in 1924 when the village was lower down the mountain and the lake area was used for grazing cattle. It was extended and renovated in 1960 to become a three-star hotel and has been refurbished several times since - all while keeping much of its original charm.

They have 23 fully-equipped guest bedrooms sleeping 2-4 people, with TV, DVD, free wifi and all have balconies with views of the slopes. In addition, they can also propose a 40m2 family suite comprising two separate bedrooms; one with Queen/twin bed and a sofa bed, and the other with bunk beds. The suite can accommodate 5-7 people.

In winter, you can book on a B&B or half-board basis, which includes a daily buffet breakfast and, for half-board guests, a 3-course dinner. In summer and autumn, there is also the possibility of booking a full board package for groups of 10 or more. They are also happy to prepare packed lunches for a small supplement so that you can enjoy your lunch al fresco on the mountain.

If you are travelling by car, then the hotel has some private parking spaces available and there is additional public parking nearby. Each room has its own ski locker and they can store your luggage on your arrival/departure day if necessary. Additional services include assistance with booking ski passes, ski lessons, equipment rental and massages.

This hotel has 24 spacious rooms and suites, each equipped with ensuite facilities, cable TV, wifi, room safe and a balcony. Rooms either face to the north overlooking the village, or to the south with stunning lake views. All sleep from 2-4 people with the south-facing rooms being slightly larger and have additional sofa seating. The suites can sleep up to 5 and are set out over two levels and have a lounge/dining area.

The resident's lounge bar offers a comfortable place to relax with a drink at the end of the day or over a game of pool, and there is also a lovely spa area with jacuzzi, sauna and hammam. This hotel also has a private car park and a secure ski room with individual lockers and boot dryers.

The restaurant is open for lunch and dinner and the sunny terrace is a particularly popular stop-off at lunchtime with its views of the lake and the Grand Motte Glacier. In the evening, you can choose from a tasty selection of regional dishes and traditional mountain cuisine.

The rustic interior uses wood and light furnishings to create clean and welcoming rooms. All of the bedrooms are spacious and have en-suite facilities and copious amounts of hot water. Some of the rooms also have a balcony with fantastic views out over resort.

After a day on the mountain, guests can enjoy the hotel's sauna and outdoor jacuzzi. The perfect way to relax and unwind as well as a good way to soothe any aches and pains from the day's activities. The hotel also has a lounge area around reception where there is free WiFi available as well as phone and fax facilities.

A real advantage of this hotel is that the owners are super friendly and happy to do ski safaris and show you around the vast Espace Killy ski domain. The hotel is also open in the summer for those looking for hiking and mountain biking holidays.

This hotel has been run by different generations of the same family for over 50 years. Direct descendants of a local family who lived in the original village that was engulfed by the Lac de Chevil when the famous dam was constructed, you know you will get an authentic "Tignard" welcome when you arrive here.

All of the 31 guest bedrooms are decorated in a style typical of the region, using lots of natural wood and sturdy furnishings. Each room has an ensuite bath/shower room, complimentary toiletries, free wifi, satellite TV, room safe and breakfast is included. Most of them also have a balcony or terrace with lovely views over the lake and the Grande Motte Glacier. Le Dôme is located in the small historic village of Tignes les Boisses, at an altitude of 1850m. The closest ski lift is 200m away, and you can actually ski back to the hotel thanks to the blue Melezes ski run.

The hotel is open year-round, making it a great option for bikers and hikers too.
