Traditional refuge set in the Vanoise National Park open both winter and summer
This beautiful mountain refuge is located in the heart of the Vanoise National Park, in the hamlet of Orgère. With excellent panoramic views and the calm of the quiet mountains, you can overnight here during your hiking trip.
Open during the summer months from the June to September, the refuge offers accommodation for up to 70 people. Half-board, B&B and bed only options are available and you can order picnic lunches on request. The restaurant offers traditional alpine cuisine and home-baked cakes.
The refuge has a beautiful garden area with chairs and parasols, providing the perfect place to relax after a long day on the mountain. The cottage was built from dry stone by the owner and has plenty of alpine charm, it's a great place to stay during a long hike.
From October to May, the refuge is open on a self-catering basis offering accommodation for 14 people.

You can reach the refuge on foot in about 20 minutes from the Orgère car park; it is just off the GR5 hiking trail.

This lift pass office can be found just off Route de Lavachet in Tignes Le Lac/Le Lavachet, next to the ESF office.
Right at the bottom of the Chardonns and Mrytilles pistes at the Sache bubble station in Tigne les Brevieres you will find the lift pass office.
