Our Top Five Things-to-do this holiday season in Tignes
Santa is on his way to Tignes and he's bringing with him some snow. Although it has been a slow start to the winter in terms of snowfall all that is set to change on Christmas Day and Boxing Day with over 30cms due to fall.

Off piste & on piste conditions in Tignes are pretty good
We’ve had another period of calm and settled conditions over the past week with a little snow (5cm) on Friday night which topped things up nicely. I’ve been out doing much less ski-touring over the week and much more lift served side country skiing as the off piste conditions from the lifts have been so great.

Backcountry expedition in the Vanoise National Park
Keeping an eye on the weather and the snow conditions, Tuesday 14th November was a perfect time to leave Tignes and go to Val d’Isere to start our backcountry ski touring hut to hut adventure which began in the Manchet valley. It would also give us a great opportunity to check conditions and the snowpack for the winter coming.

A weekend of free mountain biking in Tignes, tied & tested
It was my first ever trip to Tignes this weekend and I must say I've been really impressed. We were there predominantly for the free lift-accessed mountain biking, but if you're thinking of taking a holiday in the Alps with the family, a group of friends or as a couple, you won't be disappointed with the wide array of activities on offer. There's literally something for everyone, set with an amazing back-drop of dramatic mountains and glaciers.

This Wednesday evening brought the first session of yoga to Tignes Espace. This season yoga instructor Ady Hayhoe plans to run yoga sessions every Wednesday in the brand new Tignes Espace for an hour starting at 19.00.

Great Off -Piste Throughout the Espace Killy Over the Past Seven Days
After the snowfall we had last Saturday the Espace Killy has experienced some great conditions throughout the entire area. Although the predicted heavy snowfall never actually arrived we had enough snow at the beginning of the week and a further top up in Le Fornet to create some fantastic conditions for the whole week.
