2 bedroom Apartment in Tignes. Sleeps 6

Featured in:

This lovely modern apartment is situated in a stylish new residence located just 50 metres from the lift and it is possible to ski back to the door in winter!

Decorated in a contemporary style, the apartment has been completed to the highest standards using wooden furnishings alongside bright colours. The main livng area is open plan and flooded with light through floor to ceiling sliding glass doors that provide access to a spacious terrace. The terrace is a great spot for a cup of tea (or perhaps a vin chaud!) and a slice of cake in the afternoons whilst taking in the beautiful scenery.

Back inside there is a comfortable sofa and leather armchair where you can relax in the evenings in front of a film. The dining table comfortably seats six and the modern kitchen is fully fitted with everything you need to self-cater with ease.

For entertainment throughout your holiday, the apartment has been fitted with a flat-screen satellite TV and WiFi access throughout.

For relaxation, guests can enjoy unwinding in the residence's saunas and steam room, a great way to soothe any aching muscles.

The apartment has access to a ski locker where you can store all your equipment without it taking over your living space. There is also access to a communal laundry for your convenience.

The residence is open all year round so whether you are looking for a summer or winter mountain holiday, this apartment can be your perfect base.

The apartment sleeps up to 6 people in one twin bedroom, one bunk-bedroom and on a single sofa-bed with pull-out bed in the living room. The apartment has one shower room and a separate WC.

This property is let on self-catering basis but the residence is able to organise bread deliveries for an additional cost.

If you don't fancy cooking for yourself, there are a number of private chefs you can book who can prepare your meals for the full week or the odd night. Alternatively you could opt for a food delivery service.

What else to book

You’ll need to book your own transfers when staying here. Your main options are shared or private transfers, but consider whether you would prefer a door-to-door service or a (generally cheaper) “communal” drop-off point at your destination.

Cycle Hire

You’ll need to organise your own bike hire when staying here. Things to consider are the type of bike you want to rent such as road, mountain, hard trail and/or an electric bike; and whether you’ll need helmets and protective clothing with your rental. You’re best off choosing a shop that is close to your accommodation for ease of access, and making it quicker to return the bike and pay at the end. Some companies may also deliver so it’s worth looking at all the options.

Ski Hire

You are able to book all your ski and snowboard hire through the residence in advance.

Lifts & Passes

You are able to book all your lift pass through the residence in advance and they will be ready and waiting for you on arrival in resort.

Instructors & Lessons

When staying here, you’ll need to book  your own ski or snowboard lessons. Tuition is strongly recommended for complete beginners and is always a good idea whatever your level to perfect your technique. Group lessons are a great way for children to learn with their peers whilst giving you some free time on the slopes. Groups are also a generally cheaper option for adults, however, with a private instructor you’ll have undivided attention and be able to progress at your own pace.

Guides & Tours

When staying here, you’ll need to book your own Guides & Tours, which are a great way to discover Tignes whilst doing a number of fun activities. During the winter, if you are keen to go off-piste, booking a High Mountain Guide is strongly recommended. Not only do they know the best local spots, these highly trained and experienced individuals are very familiar with the surroundings and can provide loads of insights you won’t get by yourself, as well as helping to ensure your safety.

Families & Kids

You’ll need to book your own childcare, when staying here. There is a great choice of childcare options in Tignes from full-time nanny services to the odd night of babysitting. In addition, during the winter season, many of the ski-schools operate creche services. Booking in advance is always recommended and strongly advised for the school holiday periods.

Visitor comments

  • "We stayed in the Almes 1 in April and had a great time. The apartment was spacious, very comfortable and ideally placed for the slopes. The walk from the boot room to the slopes was about 20-30 metres up a small incline and you were on the piste which took you down to the Palafour and Toviere ski lifts. On the way back you could ski to within 10 metres of the entrance to the apartment. The boot room was good and the lockers spacious with boot dryers. We made all our arrangements by email with Pauline who was really helpful. You ordered food online from a local Sherpa and arrived to find it all in the kitchen and fridge which was wonderful. All the rooms were well furnished and spacious. I would absolutely come and stay again and have no hesitation in recommending it, unless it meant I could not book next year :-)" -  Trip Advisor
  • "This is the third year at this great place! We have been staying for 4 weeks. Very spacious and clean apartment and good location. Pauline is always so welcoming and friendly. She has organised ski passes for us prior to our arrival. Will be definitely back next year!" -  Trip Advisor
  • "We stayed there for one week in Feb and it was great, the apartment is spacious, well equipped, the rooms / beds are comfortable, the ski lift is close, there are plenty of shops and supermarkets around. And we had free access to the sauna in the building in the evening. The service and information prior to our arrival was good, clear and if I had any question the reply would come quickly. A good price for what we got. I would not mind going again." -  Trip Advisor
